Meet BRQP's New Owners

We're Katrina and Richard Ronneburger, and we're excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Blue Ridge Quick Print.

This community runs deep for both of us. Katrina moved to Brevard when she was five, and Richard when he was eight. We both graduated from Brevard High School, and after spending 15 years in Charlotte, we chose to come back home to raise our family. Our two sons, Nicklaus and Sam, are both living in the area now as well.

We've also had the privilege of returning to Brevard High School as educators. Katrina spent 20 years teaching graphic design and digital media before retiring in 2023, bringing her degree in Graphic Design from Appalachian State University and experience as an animator and graphic artist into the classroom. Richard currently teaches business and marketing, drawing on his years in sales and marketing.

When the opportunity arose to purchase BRQP, it felt like the perfect fit. Katrina will be here daily, bringing her design expertise to your projects and getting to know each of you. Richard will be working behind the scenes handling marketing and financial operations while continuing to teach.

Carol has built something special over the past 47 years, and we're honored to carry it forward. We're looking forward to meeting you, learning about your needs, and continuing the tradition of quality service this business is known for.

The History of Blue Ridge Quick Print

When I opened our doors in May 1978, fresh from Florida with no formal training in printing, I never imagined the incredible journey ahead. Perhaps my grandfather’s work on the Mergenthaler Linotype planted a seed, but it was this community that helped it grow. My husband joined me three years in, and together we’ve had the privilege of serving you through countless changes – from offset printing to digital, from manual paste-up to cloud storage, and from Dogwood Plaza Mall, Straus Park to our current home.

What I’m most proud of isn’t the technology we’ve mastered or the locations we’ve occupied. It’s the relationships we’ve built. Many of you have trusted us with your printing needs for decades, and that loyalty has meant everything to me.

I’m genuinely excited about BRQP’s future. Katrina and Richard bring exceptional expertise and a deep understanding of this industry. They’re committed to maintaining the quality and service you’ve come to expect, while bringing fresh energy and ideas to the business. I’m confident you’ll find them to be wonderful partners in all your printing needs.
