CAROL MATHEWS
OWNER
I opened BRQP in May, 1978 and have witnessed many changes in the industry since that time. We were a family owned/operated business for many years. I've always had a passion for art/design and building relationships. Nearly 40 years later, I moved to Beaufort, SC where I'm a licensed Realtor with EXP Realty. I am still building relationships, and homes fulfill my creative outlet! As owner, I can say you are in good hands with Brandon, Kayla, Laura, and Katrina, for which I am truly blessed!
BRANDON HOLMES
GENERAL MANAGER
Born and raised in Transylvania County, Brandon grew up enjoying all that the mountains of North Carolina have to offer. From fishing to farming - hunting to hiking. He's a mountain man through and through. Brandon is one of those people that starts conversations with strangers as if he's known them his entire life. It's a 'local' thing he would say.
In 1990 he began his printing career in the screen printing business creating t-shirts, he switched to flexography in 1992 and finally found his niche in offset printing. Now, after 30 years in offset printing Brandon now spends his days printing with state of the art digital equipment. He finds the fast pace and quick turn-around times to be very challenging, "I love a good challenge" is one of his favorite things to say.
His attention to detail, pursuit of perfection and his love of what he does makes him one of the best printers out there so if you need your job done right and right now - Brandon is your man!
KAYLA WHITESIDES
PROJECT & DESIGN MANAGER
Kayla holds degrees in Business Administration and Digital Marketing with a certificate in Graphic Design, showcasing her diverse skill set and dedication to her fields of expertise. In her role as Project Manager for BRQP, she integrates these talents, seamlessly serving as the face of the company. Kayla excels at fostering strong relationships with our customers, always ready to engage with them, understand their needs, and ensure their satisfaction.

Kayla's creative flair comes into play as she designs eye-catching graphics that not only represent our brand but also resonate with our cherished customers. Outside of her professional responsibilities at BRQP, Kayla treasures her time spent with her husband and their energetic children, creating lasting memories with family and friends. Whether brainstorming innovative ideas at work or enjoying lively family gatherings, she brings passion and enthusiasm in all aspects of life.
​Laura joined the BRQP team in 2012. As the Business Manager, she manages operations, works to streamline processes and budget costs to ensure client satisfaction. Her strategic approach and focus on maintaining the highest standards have been key in driving business growth and success. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree from Elon University and recently completed her AAS in Accounting and Finance at Blue Ridge Community College. She is passionate about staying ahead of trends and embracing the latest technology.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys yoga, hiking and camping, finding balance and inspiration in nature. Her commitment to both professional growth and personal well-being makes her a well rounded and driven team member. Laura has found working in the collaborative team environment at BRQP very fulfilling and one of the best aspects of the job!

KATRINA RONNEBURGER
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Katrina is a passionate graphic designer with over 30 years of experience in the field. She grew up in Brevard and is a graduate from Brevard High School.
She received an associates degree at Lees McRae college and a bachelor degree in graphic design at Appalachian State University. She worked as an
animator and graphic designer for 14+ year in Charlotte, North Carolina.
For the past 20 years, She's had the privilege of sharing her knowledge and
skills at Brevard High School as a graphics design/Adobe educator, inspiring the next generation of creatives.
Her journey in design has been incredibly rewarding, and she is excited to continue exploring new horizons at BRQP!
